Nepal takes part in Caravan Motors show

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in co-ordination with Nepal German Chamber of Commerce and Industries (NGCCI) and Nepalese private travel trade sector, participated in Caravan, Motors and Tourism (CMT) fair from 15-23 January in Stuttgart, Germany.
CMT is one of the Europe’s largest leisure, and tourism consumer fairs with a combination of motor and caravaning show held in Stuttgart, Germany every year.
Nepal’s stall with an area of 35 sq. meters and with an advantage of prime vantage location in the exhibition hall, attracted huge number of visitors keenly interested in travelling to Nepal, a press statement issued by NTB said.
“There was a good destination awareness among German population towards Nepal. Trekking in the mountains of Nepal was the main subject of the query of the visitors to Nepal stall. Nepal’s promotional collateral and souvenirs with the theme of Nepal Tourism Year – 2011 were widely distributed during the exhibition,” the statement stated.
A special Nepal Event, “Together for Tourism: Nepal Tourism Year 2011″ was organized in the CMT venue on 18 January 2011.
Ambassador of Nepal to Federal Republic of Germany, Suresh Prasad Pradhan highlighted on tourism development and achievements in Nepal and called upon the German people to visit Nepal during Nepal Tourism Year-2011.
Gopal S. L., Kakshapati, President, NGCCI, highlighted various tourism attraction of Nepal for German visitors.
The participating Nepali travel trade companies were: Royal Mountain Trekking, Nature Trail Trekking, Jyapu Travel, Jomsom Travel.
